Is RAYA really a family bonding time?

Salam Eid to all :)

How's your holiday so far?

Well, mine was full of guilt..
It's not that I am at fault..but more like poisons spread like an active virus in our family..
Good things are shared as equally as the bad things..nothing is hidden from the family ( or so they thought la)..
Sometimes it is a blessing..but most of the time it's a curse..
Condemning each other..pointing finger at one another..it's part of the norm..

or is it just my family? Hmmmm....

I do hope someday, very one in the family try to reason with each other first before throwing accusations..
It is not good for a child to be brought up in that kind of environment..
Even I feel uncomfortable sitting in the house..

I want my kids ( someday) to feel at ease while having their holiday with the family..
Everyone talking nicely to each other and etc...

It's all about Ukhuwah till Jannah

MassComm = Hot Stuff?

MassComm = Hot Stuff

I have no idea why people, as in students from other faculties call us media and communication students hot stuff..

Hey dude, have you ever see me?

Do I look hot?

No, right?

So..the statement is invalid..isn't it?

Not all, masscomm students are hot, sexy, eye boggling and etc..majority yes..but not all..
Some of us, entered masscomm to learn how to be a professional journalist, broadcaster, backstage peoples..
Someone who lives under other people's shadow..to have a steady income and a peaceful life..

Have you seen a person who is REALLY famous and HOT lead a very peaceful life?
Give me ten names..

You can't?

That also shows that we masscomm students are also layman..
We are not Gods and Goddesses where you could fool us by stabbing our back..
We are the pro in that..
To act..to be expressionless..THAT takes a lot of practice hunny..

Do not judge us all the same just because some students are spending way beyond their monthly budget to act cool and hot..
There are also students form other faculties who splurge..

So, before you judge..

LOOK IN THE MIRROR FIRST YA!

Awkward

Well..today was the very first time I went to UiTM Lendu, Melaka by car with a friend from KL...
I was so excited. It is very rare for mom to give me a chance to go out with a friend she barely know..
All I had to say was, "Mama, Lili nak keluar dengan kawan dari kelab Inspirasi".
As easy as that...

Erm..that was not what I wanted to write..

Hmm..the story begins here..
One sunny day, I and my friend (Zubong) drove to Malacca to ask our lecturer's signature and hand-in our Pemimpin Minggu Destini Siswa's (PMDS) application form..
She picked me up at TBS around 10 am. She was late but it doesn't matter because I was as excited as a chimpanzee seeing a banana..That was the first I travel by car from KL to Malacca with a friend during the day.
We chatted, gossiped and laughed at stupid blokes.....without realizing one big mistake that we've made.

WE DID NOT CHECKED WHETHER THE FUEL IS ENOUGH TO GET US THERE!!!

So, by the time we've reach Seremban. The car start to act up..worst of all..we just passed the last petrol station before entering Malacca. Boy, we were scared. Praying the car would reach the designated destination with an empty stomach...

AND..guess what?

We didn't reach our destination...by a few kilos..

Stuck on a highway..
We didn't cry..we did the exact opposite..we laugh like crazy..because
1. We did not realize the fuel was not enough until it was too late
2. We are 2 young women with limited knowledge on cars
3. Those who are near by did not answer their phones
4. We were too embarrassed to call the Plus line to ask for help..

Lucky for us, the patrol car was on duty at that time..
We paid them RM 20 for them to buy us some fuel..
We waited like 40 minutes..ON A HIGHWAY..we were sooooooo embarrassed..beyond words..
Cars, lorries, trailers, trucks..honking us..
Function?
None that would help us reach Malacca earlier..

We got lectured by the person who's on duty patrolling the area...as awkward as it is..we had to listen all the way..

But on the bright side, we did manage reach Malacca before my lecturer went home for Raya Aildiladha..

Fuhh..talk about luck!

Anyhow..
Moral of the story..
CHECK YOUR FUEL BEFORE TRAVELLING :)
